Would explain the handprint and the knife though. But come on! Cliché much?

Symmetrical though. Angels vs. Demons. Dean with an angel on his shoulder, Sam with a demon. I wonder if that's why Azazel didn't choose the oldest? If God had a stake on Dean first, even though Azazel wanted him? Still a poor cliché though. No way around that. (That I can see, at least. Still, it is Kripke's sandbox…)

So, post-viewing stats: Total squee-age = Bobby + fire + lots of Bobby + Dean + lots of too little of Dean skin + deeeemonic + Bobby + snark = 9

Excitement level – 5.5 (but I'm optimistic so far).

Also, a little bit of analysis, since we're already here…

So, what themes repeated here? Pilot (the breakfast thing), Magnificent Seven, CSPWDT, Crossroad Blues, Fresh Blood, Houses
of the Holy, Jus in Bello, Faith (come on, he practically said 'a young man with an important job to do. And he's not finished'. Which begs the question, did LaGrange choose Dean because of higher intervention, or just cuz he was loud?) … any other episodes I
don’t remember yet? *shrugs*

Oh, and Caspiel.

See, the first time they said the name, I was thinking angel. It's the 'el' thing. Many angels have the 'el' suffix. 'el' translating to 'God'
in Hebrew. Like Gabriel – sorta translate to 'my lord God' albeit it's a bad translation. Now, I've looked for Caspiel, and there isn’t a
"famous" angel by that name, BUT, there's Cafziel, the angel of loneliness and tears, the one who watches the universe and doesn’t
interfere. So… maybe? But I still say cliché.

Although, him being a seraphim would explain the handprint and the burning eyes.

Ok, so my excitement level just went up to 6.

It was really good! I expected it to suck as hard as last season, but it totally didn't.
Having something other than Sam bring Dean back was a great twist, one I didn't think they'd do. Now I'm just hoping they won't fall into the cliche trap.

OH, the angel is Castiel, not Caspiel. It irked me a little that it took 'em so long to figure out the angel thing, too. I mean we fangirls had one set of sides with the name in 'em and knew it was the name of an angel within five minutes of Googling. Where's the laptop? LOL.

I gotta laugh at the people who are saying Castiel's lying and is really Lucifer. I mean, if he's Lucifer why are Ruby and the demons from the diner so afraid of him and not rejoicing that their lord is come? Also, what would be the point making Dean the devil's advocate after setting up for three seasons that Sam's going darkside? All they need for drama is two opposite sides, what would be the point of switching sides at this point in the game?

Also, I love the idea that God had a claim on Dean so Azazel couldn't take him. I think i wrote that in The Last Boy Scout. I remember you said it as cliche then, too. LOL.

Is it sad I didn't much care for all the snark? Someone just gets outta Hell, I want them to remember something. Although that does set up some potential angst for later, I guess. Cuz he has to remember sometime. I hope. Because I am evil and want him to be tortured.

Okays, I must stop commenting on these posts cuz it makes me want to write fic and after I finish the hanta one, I ain't writing no more. *shakes fist at Kripke*

Oops. Ok, Castiel. Which would work in English. As in cast out by God. But kinda forced.
And yeah, I'm thinking they left their brains with the Scoobies. Or possibly Dean still hasn't recovered enough brain function, and Sam's melted from using his sikrit powers and pouting...

Man, I reread Living Out Loud. Still loving it. I think the anagram thing was genius. It's one of my favs.

Haha, well, I'm always writing, but not fic. LOL. Waste of creative energy. Except for the fact that I totally am writing fic because I promised someone I would and she's awesome. But it's the last one. I actually started an original short story the other day that I like quite much.

Ugh, I has to work, better get all my crap together. I hate these long weekends, and next week i wont' be able to see SPN until after I get home from work at seven a.m. *is hoping hubby can still work the VCR* LOL.
