It's that time again

I was going though my evol plot bunnies file and realized the damn thing is just growing bigger and bigger. Too many bunnies, too little time. So I decided to salt and burn some of them.
These are all bunnies I wanted to write, but didn't get to, and now I think there's no chance of me going back to them. So I'm gonna put them to rest (hopefully).
Season 1 Plot Bunnies:
Bunny 1 - Post DT
The accident had been a bad one. He never should have survived it. But he did. With some help, he did. But it came with a price. The hunt was over. For him, at least. He was finally given all he ever wanted; a home, a life, a job. A family of his own. He was happy. He couldn't remember being this happy in a long time. He hasn't been this happy since long before Sammy left him.
Too bad it was the Yellow Eyed Demon who gave it all to him. The Demon he now called Father. It was amazing how much better a father it had been to him than his own flesh and blood. It bothered him at first, but not anymore.
Dean was done being a
You know, Sammy, being possessed sucks out loud. You know, knowing some sob is using your body, doing whatever without you having any say in the matter. Having someone inside your mind… Then again, it does let you do stuff you'd never do. Like tell your brother he's not really the center of the universe. Like telling your brother he's not the only one having visions. Like telling your all knowing intuitive psychic brother that you're dying, and have been for the past two years… funny, isn’t it? After all this time, it's your normal that's gonna kill me, and not anything supernatural…
Bunny 3 - Shrink
Dean's forced to see a shrink for some reason, and the shrink asks Dean a simple enough question - Who he is. Who he really is, without the sarcasm and the jokes. And Dean doesn't answer, because he can't. He's John Winchester's son, Sam's brother. A hunter. A soldier. A protecter and caregiver. He just doesn't know WHO HE IS. (Not a memory loss thing, an identity crisis thing - oh, and whoever the shrink is, it's someone safe to talk to, someone who knows what's out there and wouldn't toss Dean into a padded cell for saying he's a demon hunter. maybe even pastor jim).
Bunny 4 - Mary
I didn't really mean to kill that one. But it's just not happening... This is probably full of grammatic mistakes, but it's just a bunny, so I don't really take the time proofreading...
Mary knew tonight she was going to die. She knew the demon she had seen in her dreams was real, and that it was coming for her boys. She also knew Dean was never going to see his fifth birthday. Not unless he learns to control those powers he has.
Not unless he buries them so deep he doesn't even remember they existed.
She knew his life depended on it.
Sammy's life depended on it.
She played with her boys all day, baking Dean's favorite cookies with him, going to the park, cooking his favorite meal. It was her way of saying goodbye without actually saying it.
But Dean… he was so special. Even at 4, he knew there was more going on, just like he knew the baby would be a boy from the moment they told him Mary was pregnant.
(She wasn’t sure about Sammy just yet. At 6 months old, she could sense some vibes off of him, but not nearly as strong as it had been with Dean. No, with her older boy, she could tell from the moment the nurse put him in her arms. It was so much stronger than what she could sense in her little girl. No, if Sammy had a gift, it was too underdeveloped to be noted.)
Dean asked, and Mary smiled, changing the subject, bribing him with cookies. He had to let go of his powers, and if he couldn’t, she had to do it for him.
He cried, and screamed in pain, and her heart broke, but she had to do it. She held him to her, rocking him back and forth as he slept in her arms, trying to sooth him, to take away the pain, the memory of what she'd done. It was her last gift to her son – burying his gift deep in his sub consciousness, so deep he would have no access to it.
She used the time Dean was asleep to make sure her boys had enough food to last them a while, she tried her best to spend every moment she could with her baby. It wasn’t easy, trying to cram a lifetime into just one day.
And then Dean woke up, looking so… lost. So small and … just lost, that for a moment, she thought something went wrong. That she had really hurt him. He was looking at her with those big green eyes of his; she just knew girls would be throwing themselves at him one day, her handsome little boy with those beautiful, scared eyes.
She did her best to smile, asking him what was wrong, and he just stared at her, almost as if he knew.
But he didn’t, couldn’t have known what she did to him. What she took from him.
His eyes pleaded for… something, but he was silent. It scared her. Dean was never silent, her boy was so full of life he didn’t have time to be silent.
And then she knew, she understood. It wasn’t that something was wrong, well, more wrong. It wasn’t that he was hurt, that he'd lost his speech, as she first feared. He didn’t lose the words, it was just that he didn’t know them yet. Didn’t know what they meant.
To a 4 year old, quiet and hollow meant the same. He felt broken and wanted her to fix him. He didn’t like the silence inside him, the stillness, the hollow feeling. The sudden lack of his powers. The look he gave her broke her heart, shattered it to a million pieces.
She hugged him, kissing him, and then they watched his favorite shows on TV, while she was feeding Sammy.
She taught Dean to change Sammy's diaper and how to give him a bath. She taught him how to care for his brother, and wished John would take care of them both.
She wished for them to live their life unburdened, happily. She wished for her boys to grow up, have friends and families of their own and be happy like they deserved.
She wished she could be there to see it, but she knew it'd never happen.
John came back and took Dean to the backyard to toss around the football.
Mary said goodbye to her baby, knowing, waiting for the fight she was going to fight.
She would save her sons. She had already lost one child to this monster, lost her little girl, she would not lose her sons.
She would die to protect them.
But when the demon comes at night and it's going for Sam, she realizes she failed to protect him as she'd protected his brother, with her dying breath she whispered her apology to her baby – I'm sorry Sammy
Bunny 5 - Post Croatoan
Totally unedited...
Are you completely out of your mind?
-Sam, enough!
-No! Not enough! You almost got yourself killed out there, Dean! You didn’t even raise your gun, what the hell were you waiting for? (look) Dean!
–Sam, let it go!
–No! (Dean tries to get away, Sam gets in his face)
talk to me, man! Dean!
–I can't!
-… it's because of IT, isn’t it? Because of the thing dad told you, the secret, about me? Why won't you tell me what it is, Dean? You don’t think I can take it, is that it? Am I some sort of a monster, a demon, what?
–Sam, I said let it go! –Like you let that monster go today? Huh? What would've happened if I hadn’t showed up, Dean? You'd be dead!
-…
- Dean!
–Yeah, enough already, ok? I was tired, I f-ed up, it happens!
–No, it doesn’t! Not to you! Dean, tell me what's going on!
-…
-Dean?
–I'm just so f-ing tired, Sammy. It's all screwed up. It's just… what's dead should stay dead.
– Dean… (sigh) are we back to that?
–am I still here and dad's still dead?
–He did this for you
–Well, who asked him to? Why couldn’t he just let the f go? I was dead, I was finally…
-What?
- …
-Dean, what?
–I'm never going to be 30, Sam. I know it, and you know it. I… there's nothing for me, there never has been. I don’t have a future. You do, you have law school and a job and a family, normal… Dad had vengeance. He could have had peace. I have nothing! I shouldn’t have come back! It would have been better if…
-You don’t really believe that, do you?
-…
-Dean…
-Forget it, alright?
–No. Dean, I can't. I need you, man, I can't have you falling apart like this. Let me help you. Stop being so pigheaded and just let me help you. Let me take some of that weight off your shoulders, man.
-…
-Dean… What did he tell you? Dean?
–I'm hungry, you want anything to eat? (it's a lie, Dean's not hungry, has no appetite, not since Croatoan.) Dean, you can't go on like that
–I'm not planning on… Look, I'll be fine, Sammy, lets just go eat.
–Dean, what did he tell you (turns, look at Sam, fin)
That's all for now.
Wow, these are a lot of dead bunnies. Anyone got some extra salt?
