Updates, rants and stuff

See, I'm not even sure people read these, but just in case...

I'll start with updates.
Work? Still sucks out loud. What now you ask? *sigh*
I started working there just as someone left on maternity leave. We have that here, 3 months payed leave, and you can take 3 more without pay. She took all 6, and I took her office. Only, she came back today, and now I have nowhere to sit.
I sit with the secretery. I don't even have room for my stuff. And that's just a new low. I think tomorrow, I'll just head straight to the lab, even though I have no experiments planned, and just sit there all day. I have no computer there, or any storage space, or any, you know, space at all, but... Hell, It already sucks out loud, at least I won't have to listen to gossip all day.
I really really want to quit and find someplace else, but I don't seem to be finding someplace else... *sniffle*

Anyway, topic #2 - story update.
I'm making it official, in case, you know, someone cares.
There will be no story update. I'm not writing it anymore. I'm not writing much anymore, and for some reason, it feels good. Which is weird, but I'm going with it. I am writing stuff down, ideas mostly, but they all get stuffed in a notebook and won't be fully written or posted.
People keep tell me to stop writing for the statistics and the reviews, to write for me. Well, I only write till I have the story all figured out. After that, I'm not really interested in it. I just liked having readers.
Not writing - it's kinda liberating right now.

And now, to the rant part.
Have you SEEN this week's episode of SN?
It was exactly what I was afraid of. Introducing a cool female character, and then, you know, ignoring her, and introducing Mary Sue with a shiny new knife.

Loopy asked what's better, the Colt or the knife. I could hear the boys asking that.
-Dude, it glowed!
-Yeah, well, the Colt did that lightning thingy. And it saved your life, bitch.
-True. But, the knife isn't use-limited, the Colt only had 13 bullets and we used them all!
-We can make more. Or find someone who can. Plus, if I'm heading off with a demon, I'd like to kill it from a hundred feet, not, you know, face to face.
-Since when?
- ...
-AND, it comes with a chick.
-It comes with a Mary Sue, that so isn't a plus.
- ...
-...
-Wanna go for pizza?
-Sure.

There were some good parts about this episode. I mean, there was that scene at the end. And those cool special effects. And BOBBY!!!!!! \O/ (and Tamara, who rocked!)
But the plot was lacking, Mary Sue was redundant, and I really REALLY didn't like the way they wrote Dean.
If this was the first episode I'd watched, there wouldn't have been a second.
Now, it isn't the first, but guys, it's the third season, not the first. You know what we don't like (bugs, no exit, and many many others, for me at least), and what we like (home, asylum, DT, IMToD, NS, Faith, AHBL, and many others). Don't wait till the last 5 episodes to make this season good, k? Please?
Pretty please with Sam and Dean on top?
(And what was that whole porn scene? Gross, dude!!!!)
