And really, it is quite evident that the majority of writers on the show don't think that (loser) about Dean either. I think Kripke is the type who bounces off walls and it takes others to bring him back to reality. At least he certainly admires what Jensen brings to the role, he couldn't help gushing over the man. And really, if this season wasn't all about Dean then I don't know what it was. So he must get that there is a lot to the guy.
