Gah, Dean, DEAN!! My poor sweet baby :( This slays me! And even if they were looking for them, Dean never knows and they never apologized to him for not paying attention to him or anything. He still did all of the apologizing, they did nothing. That just slays me, right there. :( So sad!
I'd love to read John and Sam's POV, but on the other hand, it's still not going to make me feel totally better cause in the end, they never told Dean they missed him, were looking for him, or apologized for not appreciating him. It was all on him.
