No no no. I know it's from Dean's pov, so we don't know what John and Sammy were like when he was missing. Same as the phone call, hearing what he thinks he could hear. But his return home *cries* why did he spend hours apologising to them? Yes - it was neccessary cos he caused them worry, but shouldn't he have received concern from them?
