My thoughts on 4X11
The hiatus is over.
It's been a while, but... *sigh*I know most of you probably won't agree, but me? I'm getting tired of SPN. Really.
It used to be a rush. Now it's... I keep watching cuz I like fandom, but lately, fics are more enjoyable to me than the actual episodes. Does that make sense?
Take this week's epi, for example. It was a great horror story. It was actually scary. It had a season 1 touch there. But that crack about Sam not knowing what Hell feels like? So out of place. The boys hearing a scream and rushing in to help unarmed! Come ON! Seriously?
And going on and on about Hell. *eyeroll* Come ON already. This is the same mistake you did with Sam and turning evol in season 2. Not every monster has to show what the brothers are going through, and originality is starting to... uh... be an issue here.
There was a rerun of season 1 today, but I didn't watch it, cuz I knew I'd watch the epi tonight, and season 1 Dean Vs. season 4 Dean... it's just depressing to watch.
Don't get me wrong. Jensen is made of awesome. I think he totally knocks it outta the park every time, and even Jared did a good job on this one.
But lately? I find myself craving for Chuck, not SPN. Gone is my SPN squee. I mean, there was only one joke here, and SAM MADE IT! How wrong is that?
Lay off the mytharc for a while guys, mmk? I mean, I LOVED 4X01. The standalones were good. But not for the first time, I found myself bored in this episode. And it was a scary episode, which was supposed to be good.
I didn't see the brother coming. I liked that Dean pretended he didn't say anything, and his little smirk. I was even ok with the beginning. The rest? *sigh*
When's Chuck coming back?
*hides from fandom*
That being said, \0/
