:points up: What they said. Loved the interplay between Mary, John and wee!Dean - showing just what a happy family they were & could have been. Sweet, but with a hint of the bitter to come. Then the sledgehammer of the future hitting them - and I was fully expecting John to say/think that he'd die for Dean rather than the other way round!
Just a nit-picky point is that a ten-mouth old would be VERY unlikely to string two words together - that generally occurs between the ages of 12-18 months. Minor point, but it's my job so sort of jumped out at me! Didn't spoil my enjoyment of the fic though - and looking forward to the rest!
